Serendity - Salem, Oregon

Always excited to discover a vintage-look furniture shop.  Since I'm up here in the Willamette Valley and need beeswax to finish the Ash Creek Nativities I just fired I'll check this shop out with friend Elaine this morning...at least that's the plan.  Plan?

They are listed as a retailer for American Paint Company chalk paint and beeswax finishes. Also have an Etsy shop.

One of the first Quilt Scrap Jacks that came from the Ash Creek Nativities studio.  I still like this cheery gal...I was up visiting grandbabies and had fun doing yardwork.  A helper and I covered the side yard with lot's of river gravel...trying to cover up the bark dust that the pug, Bella, is so allergic to...

The Grotto in Portland, OR

This is a wonderful place to visit during the month of December for the living nativity.  At other times of the year, the weather is better (less rain) and it's fun to walk the labyrinth and gardens.  I love this statue of St. Francis.
