Cinco patitos rima español | compilación para niños en español or 5 Little Ducklings in Spanish

I've been searching YouTube and the internet for Spanish language media for preschoolers.

This is one of our favorites for language acquisition!!

The five little ducklings have tons of personality as they help the kids practice counting skills.

The visuals support the language and the storylines are familiar to English speaking children. Kids TV Espanol Latino has nailed it for us!

I wish there were more language learning apps available...will keep searching.

Rock Painting

Re-posted from the artisan Cindy Thomas in Colorado.  Love her nativity scenes, too!  One of those middle-of-the-night Pinterest rambles led me to discover this rock artist.

Painting Rock: Black Cat - What could be easier than painting a cat using a few black lines on an orange, painted stone? Simple Cat Line Art on a Rock.

Love the river rock in our gardens in Oregon and Arizona.  Will be fun to do some painting when grandkids are a little older.

One Step Ahead has a great catalog/website of Bubba bait -- not fishworms -- but things that Grandmas just HAVE to buy.

Great Saturday at Camp Soaring Eagle

Last Saturday was my first time to volunteer with Horses with H.E.A.R.T -- what a great group of volunteers, horses and kids.

The event was a weekend camp at Jackpot Ranch in Camp Verde for youth with life-threatening illnesses.

I'll be adding more later...

Camp Soaring Eagle

This Saturday I'll be volunteering with Horses with H.E.A.R.T. at Camp Soaring Eagle in the Verde Valley.

What a great group of volunteers and horses.  This will be my first time helping to support the riders so I'm pretty excited.  HwH is very organized, gave us great annual training and has been in existence for 18 years.
HwH just got some new property just as you come into Chino Valley from the south.

Speaking of St. Paddy's Day Coming Up -- A Group of Kids That Will Make Your Day....

Hubby left this UTube video on his laptop with a note on the kitchen island for me when I got home from swimming at the YMCA this morning at 6:15.

We both work with middle & high school students...what fun!  I love the sound the cups make in that space.
