North to Alaska!

I have a temporary position as a "Granny Nanny" with four-month-old granddaughter in Homer, Alaska.  Our daughter has a 12-week contract as a traveling nurse there and Daddy is out to sea.

Claire asked if I could fit the play mat into my luggage in Arizona.  Well, of course, I can!  Grandmas can do anything.  If TSA opens my duffle bag this thing will spring out, spewing jungle animals everywhere.  I wonder if it counts as a dangerous item.

Scary Porch

Uh, oh...something's creeping onto the porch on Halloween!  What's really scary is how long that yellow extension cord has been laying there!  On my to-do list to move it today.

Just took some lettuce out to Lucy, the hen.  Realized that if I don't get the bend into the grey water pipe from the bathroom sink/tub, she's going to enjoy ice skating in her chicken run when the nights start to freeze up here in Northern Arizona
